Exploring multimodal interventions in prodromal alzheimers
This video presents key insights from the MIND-ADmini study—published in Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy—a 6-month multinational randomized controlled trial exploring the feasibility of a multidomain lifestyle intervention in individuals with prodromal Alzheimer’s disease. Participants received support in nutrition, physical activity, cognitive training, and vascular risk management, with one group also receiving a medical food.
Results showed high adherence and retention, with the combination of lifestyle changes and medical food linked to improvements in diet quality, cardiovascular risk, and cognitive outcomes. These findings highlight the promise of early, holistic strategies to support brain health.
