Community 365 Roundtable Cancer care
Taking place on Tuesday 27 May, 15:00–17:30 CEST, this roundtable will explore whether cancer care truly addresses the whole patient. The event will focus on three critical yet often overlooked aspects of oncology: the impact of cancer-related malnutrition, the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance, and the risk of healthcare-acquired infections.
Expert panels will highlight the role of medical nutrition in improving outcomes, the health and policy challenges posed by antimicrobial resistance, and strategies to enhance patient safety across oncology pathways.
The session is part of the Community 365 Roundtable series by the European Cancer Organisation and will be co-chaired by Alessandro Laviano, Professor at Sapienza University of Rome and Director of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) Lifelong Learning Educational Programme and Board Member at Danone Nutricia Campus.
